This textbook contains the consolidated versions of the Treaty on the European Union and of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, together with the according annexes and protocols, as they result from the amendments introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon, signed on 13 December 2007, which entered into force on 1 December 2009. Furthermore it contains the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union proclaimed on 7 December 2000 by the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission.
